They are not aware of the rules for police verification as it depends on the police station

Just confirmed with the Passport seva kendra helpline, They told me Sometimes the verification is done post delivery and if i fail to reach the police station i will be questioned/not allowed at the immigration

so just ignore him? He knows I got my passport and has told me that if he sends a revocation report the passport will get rejected

i got my passport in 2 days of my submission, still clueless on how this happened. I told the cop I got my passport and he told me that once he submits the report, the passport will be rejected and the RPO will ask me to submit the passport

Yes i was even wondering how they delivered my passport without police verification. Also Im not staying in a rented place, Its a part of my house thats rented
