March 5, 2025 at 12:10 pmGo for the internship, don’t listen to anyone. Try it out and if you don’t like it then decide for yourself. Especially in your third year, you should explore your options without any preconceived notions.IP law has a future as long as business exists. So don’t worry about that, if you’re interested in it go for it.

March 4, 2025 at 5:54 pmThis certificate will be the legally enforceable proof that you are the heir of any deceased person. So after the death of an individual, when any issues regarding their distribution of assets arise, this legal heir certificate will be used to ascertain who is the legally recognized heir for such assets.UUser_087e1fb5

March 4, 2025 at 5:51 pmOkay so you can get a legal heir certificate only when your father unfortunately passes away. At that time you will need his death certificate, proof of identity and address, proof of birth for yourself and a proof of relationship with the deceased. After getting this certificate you can contest that you are the heir to his assetsUUser_087e1fb5

March 4, 2025 at 5:47 pmTry applying for a legal heir certificate. I am not sure what documents are required, but you can consult a local lawyer and finish the job. I did it once and it wasn’t a difficult processUUser_087e1fb5

February 28, 2025 at 6:17 amCopyright is for any literary or artistic work which you acquire through your original artistic or literary work.Trademark is any distinct symbol, pattern, color etc which distinguishes your business from another in the same class.
Since you are stating that you have artworks that you are displaying, copyright registration for them would be required and the trademark registration for your business as well.
Copyright is an exclusive right which is inherently given to you through your original artwork. However, registration of such copyright is always advisable although not necessary. You can apply for this online as well by filling out the form and paying the prescribed fee.
The trademark registration also follows a similar procedure. You can also consult a lawyer to help with this process

February 28, 2025 at 4:36 amYep, and moreover if you’re filing an FIR under BNSS, 2023 on any public officials the police officer must get an account of the case from the higher authority of the public official to ensure that frivolous cases are not being filed and there is prima facie evidence present in the matter to proceed further. This partial immunity they get through their higher ups is enough in a country like India to manipulate the cases being filed.February 28, 2025 at 4:26 am in reply to: I don’t see a culture of Suing the company or a public administration department in India. February 28, 2025 at 4:26 amI am a broke college student. So suing corporates or public departments hasn’t been on my radar and it’s also not like I have been a victim of any corporations or public department until now. Maybe that will change in the future lmaooFebruary 28, 2025 at 3:49 am in reply to: I don’t see a culture of Suing the company or a public administration department in India. February 27, 2025 at 9:20 pmhttps://indiankanoon.org/doc/269047/ Sec 12 of the Act gives out the punishment for contempt of court. The act doesn’t list out each contempt but gives a definition and it is up to the Court to decide which comes under contempt. So generally this discretion of the court depends on the intent behind the joke and its impact on the proceedings.Given that OP states it’s a “dark joke” about the marriage of the opposing counsel there is a good chance the intent behind the joke cannot be argued as innocence.
There are several cases where judges have given a warning and let it go, and also held the advocate to be in contempt, we cannot tell for sure how they may interpret. But it is advisable to not try these antics in the court room where the judges at High Courts get irritated at the audience for using mobile phones during the proceedings.

February 27, 2025 at 9:02 pmUnder Professional Ethics of Advocates, an advocate owes certain duties to the court, to the opposing counsel, to his client and to the society. One such duty any advocate owes to his opposing counsel is to argue with respect and reason. Making a “dark joke” about the opposing counsel is obviously disrespectful to the Court and to the opposing counsel breaching the basic ethics and advocate has to follow -
