File a police complaint before they file one, this will give you a upper hand. Also, consult a lawyer before taking this step. Find all the chats and conversations that you and your family had to convince them for marriage and also the ones they refused. Take all the evidence to the lawyer and ask what can be done. I am sure you will come out of it.
