It may be important for a lot many students, especially high schoolers (11-12th students) who go to coaching and/or tuitions directly after schools. Especially non medical people. For someone like me, whose home was 45 minutes away from school, phone was very important for communicating with my mother because at times, she wouldn’t be at home and i’d have to wait it out in the society. Nowadays, some schools even allow small children to bring basic phones (mind, not smart phones) with important contacts fed in them, for the purpose. Ofc, with due permission and everything.
