I did not contact him. I was actually going to the SP office tomorrow morning, and I lodged the grievance today.

“This is to inform you that your police verification report is adverse. Assign an appointment at RPO office for further clarification. For complaints regarding police, reach out to the SSP/SP office.”

Hello. I lodged a grievance at pgportal. I selected External Affairs, and then Passport.

My case was disposed of within an hour of filing the grievance. And the officer asked me to make complaints at the SSP/SP office. Should I have selected police affairs in the grievance?

Police verification usually happens after 4-5 days of the initial visit at the PSK.

How long did it take you to get your passport?

Yes, that’s my concern too. They didn’t ask for a bribe directly, but I understand their intentions now.
