You should have thought about it before. The girl shouldn’t just refuse to pay. Consultation fee is a thing. If he had solved the case then he would have charged much higher. Not paying is just crass. Don’t exploit people. I hope the lawyer doesn’t let it go and files the case on the girl.

2k for a few minutes? Was that some big shot lawyer with years of experience? If so, then there are chances that he charges others the same too. You should pay, lawyers especially good ones charge money for consultation. It isn’t a foreign thing. if he was some random lawyer who doesn’t practice in HC or SC, isn’t from a good NLU, hasn’t handled many cases and doesn’t have more than 5 years of experience then he’s just scamming you.
