You have an e- visa facility which allows u to enter india and stay for 3 months on a 6 month or 1 year visa ( Depends ) .

Another option is to Get married here and just after that you get an X visa for 2 years and then apply for an OCI Card . You don’t need to giveup your American Citizenship for that and you will get a lifetime India access from that you can make any Local IDs … Hope it helps . Best luck 👍
