Given my similar background i think you might consider filing a case for medical negligence, which could potentially result in compensation from the hospital.

Few things first , Was the CT done? please note that X-rays have low sensitivity and specificity for carpal fractures, so a CT scan is anyways recommended in equivocal cases and for confirmation

Additionally, fractures are often best visualized 7–14 days after the injury due to increased lucency from fracture healing. If possible, please send me the X-ray via direct message for a more detailed opinion.
