      Sorry for your loss!

      1. Get clarity on facts leading up to this unfortunate loss.
      2. Get all the papers regarding treatment from the doctors and/or hospital.
      3. If you find anything glaring which proves negligent act, file a FIR, it will go through a medical board which would give it’s opinion before it proceeds any further
      4. File a case under the consumer protection act seeking compensation!

πŸ€— πŸ€—… You cannot control how one behaves, you have drawn the red line…stick to it…work on yourself… Don’t let memories or emotions cloud your judgement. Moving away the best you could have done. Cheers to new life!

Which hospital is it? And what’s the specifications of medicines, whether it’s imported?

Hospitals normally refuse outside medicines for chances of it being spurious, if it’s made within the country and is being brought from a reputed chain of pharmacy, I see no reason why they could refuse it legally, ethically or morally! The devil lies in the details and there is no straight jacket answer to it!

                1. If spouses are comfortable with mutual consent divorce, file it!
                2. Else file divorce based on grounds of cruelty.
                3. Before proceeding with #1& #2, please prepare the date and sequence of events for ready reference. It would take some mental exercise to recall and fir in all the dates based on different references like chats, messages, calls, memory recall etc. remember this is the most important aspect of pre-filing exercise
                4. Try and keep it factual based on #3 with a few alterations based on the lawyer’s suggestion.
                5. Always consult a competent lawyer to prepare the factual stories, that’s the basis of your case and will decide the final outcome!
                Lawyer this side!

Which company is it? If the terms of an acquisition is in the public domain, it could be answered precisely.

What’s your job profile? How long have you been with this company and what are the terms of your employment in terms of severance package?

Without all these details could not be answered effectively.

Probably see a lawyer in person in his city rather than finding a solution online through a friend!

                      1. Where are you located?
                      2. Facts come only at time of litigation, you need to decide what you want? Would advise you to use litigation as a strategy only when end goal is clear, don’t use litigation to force someone to comply to your whims, that always ends bitter
                      3. Once you are sure that you want a divorce, plan it! Custody of a child would depend on his/her gender, age and your ability to provide for him financially, emotionally and consistently meaning his/her welfare would be the deciding factor
                      4. Sut with a lawyer, and plan for all the contingencies before you move ahead.
