the person to whom you’re replying isn’t asking you to tell the truth *here* in this post. they are not questioning your veracity.

when they say, “tell the truth”, they are answering your specific question on “what am i supposed to do?”. they are saying what you’re supposed to do is relay what you saw to the authorities; in essense, tell *them* the truth.

samsung’s shitty service in india is the only reason i’ve refrained from purchasing any of their products for anyone in my household. i’ve had a horrible experience with them personally and don’t want to ever put myself or anyone i care about in that position ever again.
