The person did that to themselves.You’re supposed to encourage a society that builds mental health on an individual basis. If you have suicidal ideations, then YOU are not healthy. Not the person around you. You should be removing yourself from ang situation that is detrimental to your own mental health.
If you are suicidal, seek help. If you know someone who is suicidal, refer them for help. I don’t see any use in bringing the village or the book after the partner of someone who committed suicide.
You know what that does? Well, that’s how yoh get another person to commit suicide. So then how? Charge society for mental trauma?
