IIRC, minor guys also get charged under pocso act and rape laws because the age of perpetrator isn’t mentioned in the act. I remember my friend was 17 and his girlfriend was 16 when the girlfriend’s parents charged case under pocso and rape against him. He did get Acquited later but the humiliation was the worst he went through along with the fact that he missed his boards out because the police took him into custody then
