I always use Amex for high value risky transactions. Their dispute resolution is the best u have experienced.

If you have evidence that as per the merchants policy you were supposed to get a refund. Or the promised service/product was not provided to you despite you trying to resolve it with the merchant.

They simply charge back the card. Nothing to do from your end. If the vendor doesn’t provide evidence of having provided the service/product, you get the money back.

The whole purpose of token amount is so that you don’t change your mind.

Owner does not owe you anything. You forfiet the token amount unless you had a written understanding that the token amount will be returned.

Even if they find a tenant, they returning the amount will only be in good will. They don’t have to return anything.

You should only pay after you have made up your mind.

Yes. You can tell him how he can go about it. Let him reach out to an adult with that information. You have done your part.

I am not saying this person is a scam. But there are too many scammers who will come to you with very believable story of how they are in trouble. This is a sad state, but just mind your own business. Take care of your own life. People are out there devising plans to take advantage of gullible kind people.

You need three things. POI(Proof of identity). POA(Proof of address). PDB(Proof of Date of Birth)

See if he has anything that satisfies the three criterias in the list below.

            [https://uidai.gov.in/images/commdoc/List_of_Supporting_Document_for_Aadhaar_Enrolment_and_Update.pdf](https://uidai.gov.in/images/commdoc/List_of_Supporting_Document_for_Aadhaar_Enrolment_and_Update.pdf)

PDB can be made by registrar of death and birth in your municipality. Any local advocate will help. Or just google where the registrar of death and birth office is, you will find agents who will help you with this.

POI is most difficult. Does he have anything, ration card, passbook, identity card from village, anything from the above list for POI. If he has, POA is easy, you can download a form from Aadhar website and fill in the details and get it attested by any councillor, MLA office etc. you just need to find the councillor office or ask some elder in the locality. Councillors are usually known by the people in the area.

If he has no POI. Then the only option left is for an Orphanage(Warden or supritendant) to fill the form that can be downloaded from Aadhar website. The orphanage basically claims that xyz is the person and lives/lived there.

This orphanage form can be used as POA also.

Once the Aadhar is made, then address etc can be changed easily.

But again figure out if he has POI. If not question yourself why. Could he be an illegal immigrant.

Either the bride or the groom would need to have a bangalore address proof around the wedding date.

Call the agent, see if they can arrange something.

Reach out to some Bangalore agency that help you get marriage license. Just search in google map. Go by reviews.

Karnataka marriage certificate are made online. You don’t need to be at the same place. Although their online process is fucked and document verification is done manually. So an agent will get it done for you. Mostly takes 2-5 business days and ~6 inr via the agent.

What you do need in this process is phone numbers that are linked to your Aadhar cards, and 3 witnesses’s who have Aadhaar card. All these five phone numbers will get authentication OTP which you need to provide.
