Kinda are. I know people don’t agree to this becouse we have low gdp and poverty still. Buy USSR had these problems too and China have too as economic growth is only concentrated to Hans of eastern side. But still considered super power. Only diffrence with India is that India is not a leftist communist regime, so won’t get the excuse, which is good as it would motivate to strive harder
