I would sell that shop and move on.

If you’re not there and are not able to take a stern stand for now, selling is an easier option rather than fighting a court case for years or decades.

I think she should not have resigned. Since she was anyway on sabbatical, she could have only focused on her health for now. Rejoining or not is a concern for later. She could have easily resigned post delivery with maternity benefits.

But legally, yes they can ask to either serve notice period (Physically or WFH depends on the job, i dont think teachers can WFH), or buyout.

          Scare tactic.

First of off the bond itself it illegal, Nobody can force you to stay there for x years even if you sign on it. They can claim the amount they spent on your training but then they’ll need to prove that amount in the court.

But do not ignore the notice, take a legal help from an advocate to draft a response to it.

Your friend gave access to all his contacts while signing in for that app. Now they’re calling random friends and relatives to get back that money.

You have no obligation and nothing to do with that loan.

Next time they call, poori bhadas nikal lo uspe, abuse as much as you want.

Your bike number is not required for filing their first party insurance.

Most likely, they’ll file an FIR (Not to punish you, but to get it done through your third party insurance).
