February 26, 2025 at 3:42 amThrough an advocate who practices at that court, sure. You’re not going to get an early date without any severe financial emergency. You can contact them directly as well, if you just want updates/follow up, but a strongly worded letter from advocate with proper reasons for the early date will be your best chance. You’re still taking the risk that the judge may look at the reasons for early listing and deny it as not urgent, because that’s who has final authority on the roster.February 26, 2025 at 2:29 am in reply to: Have not recieved the decision date for a petition/case at ranchi high court. February 14, 2025 at 2:15 amThe Digital India Act will cover most of these regulatory issues with AI once it replaces the IT act. As of now, there is no regulation or law that governs AI in India. However, that doesn’t mean you can do whatever you wish with your AI model. There is still the requirement of registering it with MeitY meanwhile, which explicitly prohibits the use of these models for unlawful/illegal purposes.

There are enough provisions under current cybercrime laws to tackle these issues as and when they happen. It’s not worth the risk. Even if you use a disclaimer or reproduce existing information available on the internet, you cannot claim safe harbour because you’re using an Al model that will recreate its own interpretation of the information. So you are liable for any adverse consequences.

January 20, 2025 at 7:28 amIf you can wait till June, the new EPFO app will allow you to edit that information and transfer your account to new employer, without having to deal with your previous org. Until then you need the approval from their HR to approve any changes you make on the portal.January 16, 2025 at 10:00 am in reply to: If your company and payroll are registered in a different state, but the company fails to pay your final salary, can you file a labor law case in your own state? #73106UUser_42a90bf1

January 16, 2025 at 10:00 amPlace of work determines jurisdiction. You can file in Gurgaon, but the court can ask you to file in the other state as well, it depends on what your complaint is, and how they assess the complaint based on your employment contract, whether you’re an employee with benefits, or a contract labour, or if your case falls under shops and establishments act, etc.Labor law is very complex, you can file this case locally, and follow directions from the court.
