I thought if we didn’t give him permission to check the car and he did it anyways it would be more suspicious. Also I’m pretty sure he would’ve checked it anyways. I know he’s not allowed to take the car’s keys, but he did it anyways. I didn’t think I was breaking any law.

They demanded cash of course and we were asked to hand it 5 mins before we reached the police station, so we withdrew it from a nearby ATM he took us to . We were 2-3 hours away from home in the middle of a forest with barely any network, scared that we had to spend the night in jail without our family knowing about it, not to mention the fear of losing my job, so we gave the money. And no receipt. Although the other officer said that carrying 3 bottles without bill was illegal.
(We didn’t ask for the bill as we made an online payment at the Liquor store and thought wouldn’t need a bill.)

He even threatened us to throw hands as he “didn’t like my attitude” (asking what law we broke that is)
