UThat’s the importance of having financially independant and educated partners. My ex’s mother did the opposite of your case, where a financially uneducated woman took all the money her husband would send her and buy luxuries with it and throw it away without a second thought. Long story short the husband eventually was thrown out of the house after signing his properties over to the mother. She then promptly mortgaged everyothing and is now in over 70 lakhs of debt.It’s the same situation of not being financially aware and educated.
