If it is , then the case can be escalated under posco ( since the girl got raped when she was still a juvenile) . No way am I a lawyer but I know for a fact that PAN INDIA , the police takes one matter seriously and that is of POSCO ( if the rapist isn’t that powerful ) .

The police is the only choice he has , poor guy.

this is the best thing op can do and i think its the only option left , threaten or atleast inform the principal . kids these days have no concept of consequence cause all they see on the internet is people being celebrated for exercising power without bearing any consequence for the immature action, and the kids take it quite literally . Take it seriously cause kids are kids and they are immature , so stop them before they do something foolish
