I am 16-and-a-half years old, living with my mother and sister in a small town in Rajasthan. My father passed away, and we have constant conflicts with my grandfather (dadaji).
Property Dispute & Betrayal
In November 2024, while we were installing windows in our bedroom and kitchen, my grandfather started a fight, claiming we didn’t seek his permission. He then called a panchayat-style meeting and announced he was dividing the house.
Our house has two gates (front & back):
Front portion (where we live) → ₹50 lakh
Back portion → ₹35 lakh (larger but a smaller access road)
He also owns seven other properties, but he undervalued them in the meeting. He built a large house for my uncles (chachas) but falsely claimed they built it themselves.
He signed a document in front of witnesses stating he would give us the back portion of the house (₹35 lakh).
Agreement & Betrayal
We offered to pay ₹15 lakh to stay in the house, and he agreed. My mother took loans to arrange the money. But once we had it, he backed out and refused the deal, leaving us with debt and interest.
Harassment & Trespassing
Despite having a large house, he keeps entering our home through the front gate, disturbing us.
