Honestly speaking judges are a bit egoistic.
While they may not agree, being on the bench brings a certain kind of “I am above the average person” attitude in the judges. This is not something that is restricted to Supreme Court. The same kind of remarks are made on a daily basis in various lower courts too. At the end of the day we cannot do anything, because they are “lordships” and they can never be held accountable for anything.
