I had to comment. Please don’t make reckless irreversible decisions . Your boyfriend may be a gem of a person. But, from what I read, he is unemployed. It’s never a good idea to marry an unemployed person. If you are very confident that he’s the one for you, get into a live in relationship with him once he is employed. Meanwhile, you try to achieve your life goals. You say you’re 18. Don’t you want to achieve anything in life? Get a degree, get a job, travel different places. You have a whole life ahead of you. The way you think and feel at 18 need not be the same as you feel at let’s say 25. Time and experience change people. It’s your time to experience new things and not think about getting married. Also, giving up on US citizenship is a very bad idea. Always have a safety net. Let’s assume you marry the love of your life and you are unhappy in the next 1 year due to cultural differences. What is your backup plan if you don’t have a degree or financial independence? Who will help you out? How will you live your life? These are some very important things to think about.

Good luck. I hope things really work out in your favour.

Self respect appears to be a rare trait these days. It’s ridiculous how you folks are still putting up with all this drama. Throw them out.

Sorry, I am still unable to digest how someone can lend their colleague 28 lakhs. Either you are too nice a person or too naive! Good luck to you!
