March 8, 2025 at 8:05 pmThank you for sharing this. I suggest editing your original post and putting this link at the end of it so that other are aware. The hospital already has terrible reviews; I wish this doctor would get reported.UUser_5c6dadb0

March 8, 2025 at 7:52 pmCan you share the hospital’s name please? Surely you can ask your parents if you don’t know it.UUser_5c6dadb0

March 8, 2025 at 7:44 pmSome of these comments … jeez … I hope an actual lawyer steps in and advises. I had read somewhere that it was decriminalized.Whatever the case, that doctor is horrible and should not be allowed to practice. Please try to get their name and shame them. At least tell us the name of the hospital because this is not acceptable, and if anything, that doctor should be punished legally.
I hope you recover fast OP and get better mentally.

March 5, 2025 at 8:50 amThanks for correcting it. In any case, you’re a full adult, so it’s not considered running away. Please note that there is a law in India in which retired/older parents can sue their children for maintenance, so please research about that. Though as a woman, you’re better off because it wont be easy for them to claim that. It’s a good step you’re taking — leave them asap and make sure you have everything you need. I left my parents too and came to India alone (used to be an NRI). It was tough and still is, but nothing you can’t handle. Way better than being with toxic people who don’t care about you. All the best!

January 25, 2025 at 9:15 pmThe original commenter brought up morality and that’s why I mentioned it. No need to be rude. OP is asking about pursuing this legally.January 25, 2025 at 9:14 pm in reply to: My 24F, Uncle 50M S/A ed me from ages 3-16. 24 now. Can I still file a case? #66611UUser_5c6dadb0

January 25, 2025 at 9:14 pmI agree generally, but the damage should be minimized for the victim and no one else. In this case, the victim is looking jnto pursuing legal options. And that would not only be for her mental health but also for the well being for any current and potential victims of the abuser.January 25, 2025 at 5:44 pm in reply to: My 24F, Uncle 50M S/A ed me from ages 3-16. 24 now. January 25, 2025 at 5:44 pmI don’t know about the legal practicalities, for which you may be right as a lawyer. But morally, reporting him is the best thing to do. Is your advice really not to tell anyone? This is how abusers get away with things. -
