March 10, 2025 at 11:21 amThank you. It is very encouraging to hear you can get some of your money back. Do you know anyone who has been through this process?
Do you recommend any advocates or lawyers that are honest?March 10, 2025 at 10:43 am in reply to: Is there any point in making a complaint to the Bar Council of Maharashtra? #38359UUser_5d676330

March 10, 2025 at 10:25 amFor us – it is the time and effort to put into such an process for it to go into a bureaucratic black hole that Adv. Raju Barai will just bribe himself out of. The same feeling goes for the police. Do you know anyone who has been through this process? Was there any true/honest/lawful outcome?March 10, 2025 at 9:26 am in reply to: Is there any point in making a complaint to the Bar Council of Maharashtra? #38353UUser_5d676330

March 10, 2025 at 9:23 amMy husband put money into his bank account for court fees. He never followed through with the court case. We trusted him thinking he was an advocate. It took years. He kept asking for more and more money. The last contact he had with us was in November 2024. He ignores our calls etc. We have given up. It’s a very difficult situation. We need to find an honest lawyer/advocate who can do our case. This is the second time having terrible experience with Mumbai advocates.
