Thank you for all the comments. Some are saying it can’t be done and as per some, it is quite possible. Is there a WAY(Legally/illegally) through which I can be sure about it?

He is not doing it himself. He was employed at good rank and BARC already does some tracking/tapping for its employees and they have NDA in place for that. I think for me, he might be putting the tag of family member and not sure how he did for other 2 friends of mine.

I hope so. But it’s like, BARC already does some kind of tracking of its employee and they sign NDA for that. So my FIL was employed at good rank and that’s how he has some contacts in that department. I am assuming BARC would have such kind of permission already in place.

Yeah..after marriage I came to know that it’s done for family members as well.
That’s what I was told. Don’t know what constitutes as family member?

The problem is..I don’t know what kind of data they are collecting and what kind of encryption will help.
