I’ve been caught doing the same almost 20 times in Bangalore. One day I was having a tea around 5 PM and just when I thought it was a good time to light one, 2 police officers came in a bike and caught me. Then they had this half A4 sized paper with some Kannada written all over it. I just gave him my contact number and name along with Rs. 200 in cash that I had to borrow from the same panvadi. Anyway later that night at around 12:00 I was going to my office to wrap up some p0 thing that we had to ship the next day, so I thought I should light another one assuming that police men won’t be around. Well, unlucky me, the same pair caught me again. But as it was midnight and u didn’t have cash, they let me go after lecturing me for more than 15 minutes about why I should smoke cigarettes but indoors only.
