January 16, 2025 at 2:27 pmI don’t think so. It’s a criminal matter. It will be a jurisdictional issue i.e. in simpler terms, Mumbai courts will not have authority or power to even hear the matters since no court can exercise it’s authority over the other court’s domain of authority (jurisdiction). Virtual appearance is always an option unless and until the court itself demands the party to appear in person.UUser_6bc3a2b8

January 16, 2025 at 5:52 amLawyer here…my advice would be to get a lawyer. A case has been registered. Within 90 days(max) the case will be listed at court for hearing. Defense will try to downplay it. Either you guys go with the public prosecutor or get a lawyer. Either you guys settle this outside the court or seek imprisonment from the court. For our of court settlement you guys will have the negotiating power (as long as it’s a sane amount) and if you guys are seeking imprisonment…then remember it always comes with a risk of acquittal but you can always file an appeal or a revision so… -
