She should file a complaint in the police station. Many missionaries will happily convert her and give her financial assistance(cost of a lawyer, shelter home, etc).

Condolence to you and your family.

Police should have assessed the situation and found no evidence of wrongdoing (no one else was present at the site of the crime, there was no suicide note, etc.). In this case, the police do not do any further investigation. Perhaps, everyone is waiting for the postmortem report.

After your register the FIR, the inspector in charge should give you a death certificate. They don’t need to know the cause of death. Just bribe them. Once you have the death certificate, you need to go ahead with the family inheritance, recover money from the bank account, etc.

Here the suspect is an IPS officer. He has a lot of police stations under him and can persuade any SHO to file false charges.

Get a good lawyer and file for anticipatory bail for all members of the family. Police officers can’t arrest anymore. Also, try to present the case to the judge where the police officer misuses his authority. He might request suspension or transfer. Some judges are good and not a fan of police departments.

When the police is after you, only a lawyer or a judge can help you. Police fear them.

Set clear boundaries with your father. Just as he didn’t fulfill all your demands for toys when you were a child, it’s okay to say no now. In India, many parents struggle to respect boundaries. They often encroach on personal space and may expect financial support. Taking on such a large loan at the age of 22 is a poor decision. It could take years, even a decade, to repay, and it will significantly impact your quality of life.

                You are out of luck.

It isn’t easy to make him back off. Police officers fear media persons, senior police officers and bureaucrats, ministers, lawyers, and judges. Other than them, they don’t give a fuck. Some of those beat-up lawyers, but most don’t.

The best strategy is not to be in a situation where they hit you. If they stop you during a protest or police check, do what they say. The lawyers can protect you, sometimes a small bribe puts a smile on them.

You don’t even need to have sex to rape someone. It entirely depends on both of you.

Relax and have fun. Don’t tell her how much money you have and what your relationship is with other women.

                    > I am quite sure that if he gets married, his ex won’t create a problem as she is married

Legally she can’t because marrying 2nd time without a divorce is a criminal offence and she will be in trouble. It is unlikely that this will be a big issue because someone(your dumb friend) needs to file a complaint to initiate criminal action.

                      Condolence for being laid off.

Take the month’s salary and move on. It is a lengthy process to fight and win the case in the court.

                        >  Police gave me a non cognizable report

This is normal. For FIR, they need to investigate and file a chargesheet in court. The amount of effort spent is not worth the phone. So, they rarely file an FIR.
