Leave the country before they file 498A and a bunch of other cases. Because your passport will be blocked and you will not be able to leave the country. And if you fight court cases in India, even if you win it will take 5-10 yrs.

Other option is settlement depending on how much you are comfortable paying.

You will not get justice in the court system in India.

Unfortunately you got to give what is legally his and cut ties with him and move on. What he does with it or which hell he goes to will be none of your business
