Sorry I am not a lawyer but a similar case happened in my family and as long as there is no FIR, nobody cares. I have explained the situation in a separate comment.

If they haven’t filed an FIR then it won’t hurt your chances of a government job, your career is not over

If the environment is really that toxic, you should get even a simple job for the time being, getting out of that place will actually help your mental health, if your mother doesn’t care, leave her, that’s a losing battle OP
