All those who said it’s not worth pursuing is the reason why people/companies like OP faced are able to escape easily with money without any accountability.

Looks like just cheat 1000 for 1000 rupees and you get good money without facing consequences. !!

First thing to be done is get a solid evidence regarding the rape threat. As per OP, the claim is a third party claim and not a direct threat. If there is solid proof that the rape claim is true then directly proceed to file a complaint under POCSO.

The reason I am asking to verify the claim is because, I have seen many cases of false third party narratives. POCSO is a powerful tool, but it should not be used for revenge purposes by filing false cases.

The other good thing to do is contact the parents of the accused through your parents. But, anyway, until it is verified, file a written complaint in the college. As per AICTE regulations, there has to be an Anti-Sexual Harrasment Committe in the college.
