1. Recover the gmail account. Change passwords. Set up 2 step login.
2. Record calls and messages and save them elsewhere for future use.
3. Tell her that these days anyone can make anyone do anything in a photo using AI. Ask her to get a few neighbourhood aunties on her side because this thing’s going to blow either way if she pursues the man for her money. So she needs to be prepared adequately. Manipulate the narrative before the other party.
4. Go to the nearest women NGO or mahila police station and ask them to help threaten the man into giving her money back. If he refuses, she can proceed towards an FIR.

I could be wrong about this, in which case I’m really sorry.
Your mother might have had a fling with the guy which is why she took a loan for him and he has her private pictures. Please do not judge her for it. Help her through this ordeal. But if this is indeed the case, she was essentially honey trapped and she needs to be upfront about this to the police women and lawyers so that they can help accordingly.

Does the politician belong to the ruling party? Does he hold any office? Or does he belong to the party of the local MLA?
If there’s a strong opposition, reach out to them. I’m pretty sure they’ll be interested in helping you out.
Either way, tell him to increase the price offered. If he listens then well and good or else you can go about the former.

Post on r/delhi and r/askindianwomen. Attach the link to your tweets. This is of utmost concern. Share on WhatsApp and other social media.
As for the FIR, you can get one done by approaching the magistrate or mailing(physical) the concerned police station. Use a courier service that asks for signature to get the mail delivered. The police will have no choice but to register the FIR.
Please don’t let this go. Your dignity is precious. Fight for it no matter the consequences.
