February 26, 2025 at 9:47 pmMate! I truly empathize with your situation, but as others have mentioned, never ship the entire PC in one go, as it increases the risk of damage. I’ve moved a couple of times myself, and here are some things I can share for others and your future moving plans:Disassemble the PC. If you do not have the expertise to do this, get in touch with a technician to get it done. Pack everything yourself with adequate bubble wrap.
Things to note: bring the GPU with you, as it’s relatively small and easy to carry. I would suggest the same for the CPU.
I understand the monitor is heavy, but I believe it’s the most critical component to take extra care with. I always keep the original packaging of the monitor and other critical components to ensure things like this don’t happen.
Try opting for a delhivary, I’ve used them multiple times, even once when I accidentally left my AirPods in another city. One of my friend shipped them to me, and the package I received was handled with utmost care. To note, packaging is the most important part when shipping.
I hope this helps you and others. Cheers!
