January 18, 2025 at 3:39 pmPotential big loss she can cause is blocking of passport. This will probably go like this – mahilla thana dont have any influence in the matter, they just take the fir and statements from so called victims in this case and submit it to family court. Due to multiple SC rulings, family members can be easily removed from the FIR allegations and further future court proceedings. Family courts are already burdened with lots of cases, they will call you first for consent like you will cooperate with the courts proceedings. And will give next date most probably around 6-7 months later. Everyone would get aware like both side lawyers, judges etc that itβs false case. Court cannt do anything in these cases, other party wont be able to prove the allegations, court will proceed with its usual slow process, will try that both of you either reconciliatie, settle or take mutual divorce. Only loss here would be of time. And yes as someone else suggested be careful of lawyers, try to get trustworthy lawyer. Their first priority is mostly extracting as much money as possible from clients. If time and little bit of travelling is not an issue, no one can do any major harm in such cases. -
