You can deposit the cheques and lodge an FIR for the same. He will be called to the Police station, maybe locked up and police will direct you to the court. Where he will submit he doesn’t have the means to pay. So either he will go to jail for some time or he agrees to pay you in installments which of course won’t be of no help. In my opinion try to bend his arm using any connection you have.

You call that person try to lure him to come to an isolated place then gang up on him the only way to solve things in such case

If she’s 18 and he’s 16. She will be the one to face legal wrath since she honey trapped a minor into such an act. So don’t worry for now but keep your business in your pants

Well try to find if he’s a regular or not, if he is then you wait for an opportunity and take your revenge out. Legally there’s not much of a case
