Going the Legal route in India or the US is going to be a costly affair, considering you are Indian Citizens and assuming you are practicing Hindu. Based on the marriage registration, visa type , type of case filed, the court proceeding might drag and affect you mentally, psychological and financially for self and family members.

Mutual consent with a fair payout (if applicable) is the best route to make life easy for all parties unless the opposite party had other intentions.

Sorry to hear about this. Many educated and well earning people fall for get quick rich schemes. The loss is a lesson and there is nothing much u can do about it as fighting it is not that easy even in this age of tech.

Try to do some online jobs which are trusted and regulated and have offices in india to compensate for the loss. Educate your friends and family about such things so that no one loses any more money which is a small bit u can do.

Its time to send a Legal notice to ensure they respond. Else things will take a turn based on how strong the opponent is in Legal and financial aspects.

Its unfortunate to be in such situation and its expected in startups based on their funding and expenses. Its time to team up together and hire a legal advisor to help you all. Do u have any mail or phone or message recordings in this context?
