UFalse and Fake are two different terminologies, with drastic differences in law, so don’t put them as “Fake/False” It’s weird to see, how even a news handle is using these terms wrongly.UMaybe ask for help from your agent, or just wait, and if nothing works try the online address changing server.UI tried changing my address, and read some conditions, The proof of address is a necessary document in this updating process, a list is also provided. You can update it using two method
Head of family, and Document update.
Head of family method is much easier, so if your family’s head address is already updated, you can change yours using this method.
In next one, it asks for you Proof of address, and You can do it on your own too, I guess, I am not sure, if the agents involvement is necessary here, maybe he just updated your photo, and now you have to complete the process using online service on UIDAI, i am not sure, but i think, it’s possible.
Maybe my friends agent did both, and while your didn’t. IDk, understanding your situation is pretty complex from here.
UWell, I can’t say anything about Passport as i doesn’t have it, but i recently updated the information in my aadhar card.So, I updated my Number, as i was a kid when my aadhar was made, so my father mobile number was attached with it. They changes your picture every time you visits them, the normal proceeding time that they gives is 1 week. Although, mostly it makes 2 days.
All my friends who have changed any info in aadhar, their update was successful in 2 days including Address. You said, that they did not ask for new address info, which is suspicious.
1) Go to UIDAI website, log into your Addhar profile and check if the new photo is there. If the new profile picture is there, that means the update was successful , and your agent messed up something, as you said, he did not ask for new address.
2) If it’s not update, and hanged somewhere, it could also means, as the new address was not provided to the server, the officers in department have hanged your addhar request.
