A petition that compares direct tax and indirect tax will be thrown out in <5 seconds. In fact he will be in trouble if you turn around and say you will only pay what has been agreed on paper which is 30k. February 2, 2025 at 2:34 amThere is a saying in judicial circles in India, if you believe you have a strong case then settle it outside the court, if no then go to court so that matter is stretched for decades!
Another big learning in civil disputes is that when opponent fails, they always resort to tampering records like patta or other revenue records. Prudent would be to send legal notice respective court documents and make it part of their records. -
