If it’s not your main number I would suggest just turn it off for a few days. Most likely this is a scam. Paying for sex to consenting adults is not a crime. It is possible that the person you spoke to is a policeman but even so they are probably just trying to male money off of you.

Also, even if the girls are illegally here or whatever that’s not on you.

Okay. Good luck with that 🙂 I hope the doggos recover well and quick! You’re doing something great. I don’t know you, but I am proud of you.

Since I used to feed the dogs and they were familiar with me it was easy to get them in my car. I drove them to a private pet clinic near my house. The gave me discounted fee because these were stray dogs. So they charged me Rs. 1,600 for the male dogs and Rs. 3,000 for the females.
I also got one male and one female spayed and neutered at the government vet clinic and those people charged me 800 and 1,200 respectively. However, it was a lot more hassle. And the whole place smelled like death so I didn’t go back.

You should check if your city/town has better government clinics. Since it’s a lot cheaper.

Aftercare included applying an antibiotic cream to the sutures once a day for 5 days. I ended up asking the vet for neosporin powder because that was easier to apply. All the dogs recovered really well with no issues.

Also, you can find out if there are specific NGOs active in your area for animals. Sometimes they will get the dogs spayed for no charges at all and also help you with the transportation.

Wow, I think the comments on these posts alone will tell you the state of things. It was so upsetting read your post. I’m not sure on the legality of it but I wish humans in general had a bit more space in their hearts and homes. I too have 5 adopted dogs and 1 adopted cat (the cat recently passed away). I wish I could adopt them all too 🙂 But I also have kids and family to look after. I’ve got many (at least 7-8) dogs neutered/spayed over the years.
Don’t let soulless people get to you. Keep your humanity alive. The world needs people like you. Or it would’ve imploded long ago.

I’m very sorry for what you’re going through. Children are the collateral damage of divorce. I hope pre-nups become a standard in India as well so that all of this stuff is sorted right when you marry.

My suggestion would be to first confide in your family. Talk about the video very casually. But say how upset and scared you are that the guy might post it on social media. Once your parents are in the know a big weight will be shifted off of your shoulders, I promise you.
Let them handle it from them. Also, I agree that you should first consult a lawyer instead of going to the police.

Install a cctv that has a clear view of your main area. There are ones that record in a memory card and you can just plug them in. Try to place it in a spot where it’s not immediately visible but still capture everything and it must have audio recording feature as well. There are some qubo cameras on amazon that aren’t very expensive and do a great job.

If you try to record with your phone they will most likely snatch it from you and get aggravated even more. The police in our country is a bigger curse than politicians.

It means you write down what you did and that you are sorry for it and that you won’t repeat something like this in the future. Pretty clear what a written apology means

Have you ever gotten drunk and sent that kinda message to your mom? Stop hiding behind excuses. I think you clearly knew who and what you were messaging. Take accountability.

I am itching to post it. But the lawyer, my partner and parents are all against the idea. They think it will make the situation worse. The lawyer also said that we could use the video as leverage in the police station to make them withdraw the complaint but if i post it online, then it might come back on us legally.

The son is stationed elsewhere. He doesn’t live here with his father.

Here’s a message I wrote to the son because we were childhood friends who lost touch after growing up, I thought it would mean something:

“Your father has repeatedly molested, harassed and beaten up multiple women over the years. I don’t have proofs for each one of them but I do have proof for one. And that’s enough. Do not for a minute think that you can misuse your power to silence or intimidate me.”

                              And he responded with: “ok”

P.s. I honestly thought you would grow up to be a better man. Sadly, you’ve just turned into your father.

Ya, sadly that’s true. Also, his son is an active Lt. Col. in the army right now. No way they would listen to us over them. Although, my father is a retired air force officer too. But he’s not active in the ex servicemen scene at all.

We spoke to the woman, she is afraid to come back (and rightly so), he has threatened her as well and has filed false FIR of theft of property against her. The police already beat up her estranged husband who lives here only. So she is scared to come back. And honestly I wouldn’t advise her to get caught up in all of this. If people like us, who have all sorts of resources at our disposal can’t win then what hope does this woman have.

Also, she told us that when the cops took her inside the house on pretext of getting her stuff (mind you they were both male cops) they made her sign a paper. She couldn’t tell me what it said because she said it was written in english and she is uneducated. So no idea what they made her sign. My guess would be a statement saying that the colonel never abused her in any way?
