Just be firm and confident in your dealings. Tell the police, you have no money to pay anyone. Also tell them you have done nothing wrong to ask forgiveness for. Most importantly, ensure the CCTV footage is in ‘your’ possession asap.

Ask the owner/manager of the institute to accompany you to the police station.

If you did/said nothing sexual or pass caste based remarks, you have nothing to worry about. Go to the police station and ask them what is the issue… Tell them to have girl file an FIR. They will never filer her FIR because then they will have to do the work. Also, don’t pay them anything. These are just tactics to mooch money off both sides.
