She has called a lawyer friend and they’re going to lodge a complaint. I’m just the first person she told this to and trying to help in whatever way I can.

There was no penetration so would they be able to procure anything substantial from the medical exam?

Yes, she’s going to lodge a complaint soon but we want to know what to expect from the entire process, what evidences to have, what police can ask for.
