It’s not rubbish, it is happening to my cousin as well. HR is asking for 5 months salary back if he leaves, or to continue working without getting paid for next 5 months. Because of this reason only, I found this thread.

If he doesn’t pay back, they will terminate him. Now he is bothered whether this termination will have any impact on his career. Need others advise on it.
