Apart from everything else, forget your sense of self being undermined by some random twat (the guy) and focus on the possible offensive, because this time you might think you have the upper hand as you have them in the wrong based on circumstances. However, it is only a matter of time before she pushes forward with a separation demand based on false claims of domestic abuse to justify her having an affair. So lawyer up as soon as you can, and leave that possibility of you being framed the culprit redundant. Time is really of the essence here. And trust me, given the number of cases, that happens a lot.
