Depends. What do you value more? Money or your time? Giving a bribe is certainly the easier option. Saves your time. If principles are more important, you take them to court. They do need to prove you guilty. Which they won’t be able to.

Nope. They use the process of the law to harass people. I mean, if you do go to court, you will be acquired. But the process of getting a lawyer, getting a court date etc will drain you out of your money and ruin your life.
