              22M here , and something similar happened to me. Around 1 lakh was left with my former friend (now an enemy haha). I gave him 3x that amount, and after 4 months of constant begging, he returned 2 of it, but thereโ€™s still 1 pending. Itโ€™s been 1.5 years now. Tbh, I have connections and have consulted lawyers and police officers, but in the end, I realized it would just be a waste of time, effort, and money. So I decided to take it as a lesson for the future. Honestly, I had a feeling when I lent him the money that he might not return it, and it turned out to be true. But mark my words, Iโ€™ll settle the score with him later in life I wonโ€™t let him get away with betraying my trust.
