Tell him to fuck off. Had a similar episode when I was trying to figure out a flat in a society I was living in and talking to multiple brokers and directly from society groups.
After I finalised one, this broker out of the blue calls me telling that he wants the brokerage coz he showed the flat (although he never showed the one I bought, might have been in his inventory). I told him very strongly to fuck off and that I ain’t paying shit, never called again.
They just keep trying to sense if someone is gullible enough and try to extort money.
