January 13, 2025 at 2:13 amThank you, I understand. He was born when I was deputed to foreign country. He lived there hardly for 3 months. We all moved for good to India. It was my understanding a kid can decide on the Nationality only after he is 18. Till then I’m trying to find a way to establish his skills. I don’t find a solution for this.UUser_e6612d84

January 13, 2025 at 2:10 amThank you, the only rule stand in the way is “OCI players are not eligible to play in India”. He was playing for a year and got selected to Nationals but we voluntarily informed about his status and we got response back not to participate.UUser_e6612d84

January 13, 2025 at 2:08 amThank you, as far as I’ve researched, After 2009, I see all sports in India are not permitting OCI holders to represent district, state and nationals. The sport body also highlighted the same rule. If I have to take to legally, not sure from where I can start. Many are not aware of the scenario and unable to give right advice. -
