Assuming you are a Hindu, the house will be equally shared between your mom, you and your sister. Your father’s sisters do not have any share. You need get a legal heir certificate mentioning all the 3 inheritors and initiate name transfer for the property.

One can accidentally default on one emi. How is it possible to be accidentally defaulting on multiple emis?

Once you default on first emi bank will start messaging, calling before taking the legal route

Happens everywhere. Banks charge lower interest rate on loans to new customers, most service providers have a discount only for new customers.

This is a common issue and adjustment is possible only if they show the recovery of bonus against other items paid to you. This is not possible in many companies as their payroll is not setup to account for this. They will have an accounting issue.

This issue also happens when unavailed leaves are adjusted against notice period. The leave is encashed and taxed. Notice period pay is separately deducted, so employee pays tax on leave encashment without actually getting the money.

It has been happening for years and there are many such unfair rules. It is very difficult to fight it out. IT department will just ask to talk to your company and show the adjustment in form-16.

Be happy they are not asking for a penalty or filing a case on you for scamming them. Very nice of them to be willing to just settle for the amount you scammed them.ย
