March 17, 2025 at 12:48 pmI upvoted your response. You’re absolutely right. The standards should be the same on both ends. She should also realize that she messed up and that she should move on.March 17, 2025 at 12:13 am in reply to: Parents caught my fiancée from AM drinking they want to call off wedding but she threatens to press charges is it possible? #34428UUser_eac9340d

March 16, 2025 at 7:26 pmSerious question: Isn’t India a democracy? Doesn’t that mean that anyone can do anything they want, provided it’s not against the law?Now my point: If this girl is out partying, it’s not against the law. If she’s drinking, it’s not against the law. If she’s flirting, it’s not against the law.
Leave her alone. She is just doing what many people do in the west. Doesn’t India idolize the west? If she’s not marriage material, just break it off and that’s that.
As for the allegations, if there was no intimacy, there is no case.
One thing I would recommend – don’t destroy the girl’s father’s reputation. It has nothing to do with him.
On the flip side – if you want to maintain the proper Indian culture and live in a society that has existed for thousands of years, DON’T IDOLIZE THE WEST. Teach your kids that India has it’s own culture and traditions that you must abide by them. I’m just playing devil’s advocate.
