March 1, 2025 at 6:10 amYes. In case you do go for the sale option in the future, get your house appraised by a professional. There is a chance the paper value may be say 2cr but actual value is saying 2.5cr. the seller may give the cash to your uncle and split the rest among you.ยMarch 1, 2025 at 6:00 am in reply to: Dad passed away and his family are want to sell the house. #44540UUser_f7d7f34f

March 1, 2025 at 6:00 amCourt cannot force you to sell the house. They will determine the share but not in absolute value terms. The judgement will be only say she is entitled to 1/4th the share. She can stay there as long as she wants. Court cannot evict herFebruary 22, 2025 at 4:44 am in reply to: Someone in my company filed a complaint against me. #50033UUser_f7d7f34f

February 22, 2025 at 4:44 amI’m not talking about the case but the agreement. As far as I know you can’t sign away your right to sue except under certain situations like settlement agreements and this doesn’t seem to be one of those situations. But I could be wrong as I’m not a lawyer.ยFebruary 21, 2025 at 6:23 pm in reply to: Someone in my company filed a complaint against me. #50016UUser_f7d7f34f

January 11, 2025 at 4:50 amAbsolutely not true. Yes the burden of proof lies with the victim but she doesn’t go to jail if she can’t prove it. For that the husband has to prove the accusations are fake and with malicious intent. The wife being unable to prove the charges doesn’t mean it is fake. Lack of evidence does not amount to falsehood.ย -
